There was devastating flooding in Louisiana recently and over 65 Telecommunicators were directly effected.  Alabama APCO has made a $2000 donation to their youcaring fundraiser page and challenges each of you to make a donation as well if you can.  Click here to support 911 Loves Louisiana 911

Congratulations to Mary Ransier, Deputy Director at MACECOM 9-1-1! Mary has been appointed as the WA Chapter of APCO-NENA President Elect. This fills the position that Karl Hatton left vacant when he was sworn in as President after Jean Nealy’s passing. This appointment will ensure that we have the position filled and Mary will cover the position until our next election. During the next election in June, Karl will continue as President to fulfill the term he was elected for, and the position of President Elect will be open for nominations. We are excited to have such a passionate and dedicated member of our Chapter step up into this position and believe that she will be exactly what our chapter needs this year.
