Building a Community of Belonging in the PSAP

Katy has been in public safety communications for about 30 years and is the President of the WA Chapter of APCO-NENA. She has worked as a dispatcher, training manager, quality assurance & accreditation manager, 911 operations division manager and technical services manager. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Administration at NORCOM, Katy has completed NENA CMCP, is a NENA Emergency Number Professional (ENP) and APCO Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE.) She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Organization Development and Leadership. She has participated on multiple state and national committees and workgroups and chairs the WA State 911 Operations Sub-Committee.
